Coaching that starts where you are
Choosing to invest in your own growth is a confident step. Coaching gives you a dedicated space to think clearly about where you are, where you’d like to be and how you’d like to get there, with someone fully focused on you.
Women come to me for all sorts of reasons: self-doubt, low confidence, a change they haven’t yet started, or plain curiosity about what coaching involves. You can see my coaching packages in full on my coaching page.
How it works
A Starting Point
A commitment to coaching is an investment in your future. It is therefore essential that we are a good fit.
We’ll begin with a FREE 30 min Discovery Call where you will have an opportunity to ask questions, explore options and gain clarity and the motivation to take the next step.
Commitment to Self
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, we’ll choose the shape that suits you. Many women begin with a six-session coaching journey, which gives us time to explore properly and for new habits to settle. If you’d rather start smaller, a single 90-minute session is a focused way to begin.
Change that lasts usually comes from giving yourself enough room to do the work, notice what shifts, and keep going.
Where, When and How
Sessions take place on Zoom or in person, whichever suits you best.
I’m flexible with timings, and together we’ll find a rhythm that fits your week and the pace you’d like to move at.
Questions you might have
What is coaching, and how do I know if it’s right for me?
Coaching is a conversation where you set the agenda. You bring what’s on your mind (a decision you keep circling, a feeling you can’t quite name, a sense that something needs to change) and I help you think it through clearly, notice what sits underneath it, and decide what you’d like to do next.
It tends to suit women who are capable and keeping a full life running, but who feel a little stuck, unsure of what they want, or further from themselves than they’d like. You don’t need a crisis or a neat reason. If you’ve read this far and something has landed, that’s usually a good sign. The free 30-minute call is the easiest way to find out whether it feels right for you, with no pressure either way.
What is emotions coaching, and why does it matter?
Emotions coaching helps you notice and name what you’re feeling, understand what sits beneath it, and respond rather than react. Many of us were never taught that language, so feelings get filed under “Deal with Later” until they spill out at the wrong moment. Learning to work with them brings more steadiness, less self-criticism, and decisions that feel like your own. I’m also a certified Emotions Coaching Practitioner, so it shapes how I listen in every session.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy often explores the past and helps people heal from difficult experiences or manage mental health conditions. Coaching, on the other hand, focuses on where you are now and where you’d like to go, with practical steps along the way. If something comes up that would be better supported by a therapist or counsellor, I’ll tell you honestly and help you think about where to turn.
Who do you work with?
Mostly mothers, at every stage: for example, women with young children, women with teenagers, and women whose children have left home and who are wondering what comes next for them. What they share is a full life, run well, and a sense that they’d like more of it to belong to them.
What happens on the free discovery call?
It’s a relaxed, 30-minute conversation over Zoom. First, you tell me a little about where you are and what you’d like. Then I listen and ask a few questions, and we both get a sense of whether we’d work well together. There’s no obligation and nothing to prepare.
Can I book a single session, or do I need a package?
Both are possible. I offer a single 90-minute session and a six-session coaching journey. However, the best place to start is a free call, where we’ll talk through the options and choose what suits you.
How do sessions work?
Most sessions take place over Zoom, so you can join from home, work or anywhere you feel comfortable. In addition, booking, notes and payments are all handled through my secure client portal, so everything stays in one place.
Do you offer face-to-face coaching?
Yes. Most of my clients prefer to meet over Zoom, which makes sessions easy to fit into a busy week, but face-to-face sessions are possible too, depending on where you are. Either way, we can talk through what would suit you best on your free discovery call.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, in line with the ICF Code of Ethics and our coaching agreement. The only exception would be a serious concern about someone’s safety, and even then it would always be handled with care and openness.
Will there be anything to do between sessions?
Each session ends with one realistic next step, chosen by you. Sometimes I’ll also suggest a short reflection or exercise. Even so, how much you take on is always up to you, and it’s often in the space between sessions that the biggest shifts happen.
How do I get started?
Book a free 30-minute call at a time that suits you. After that, we’ll meet, talk, and see whether working together feels right.
